I find it extremely disturbing, that so many high up people; within News Corps International, did not have a clue that the high level of phone hacking was carried out........and also did not notice that a substantial amount of money, i.e. hundreds of thousands of pounds went missing to pay the bent Coppers for info.
I think we have not seen the tip of the iceberg yet.

It was purely a business decision, a very small part of a global empire.
It might have been a cost saving exercise, not a money making move though.
What he has saved by not supporting it through the current problem, is a deposit on a new venture, when the heat dies down.

The problem he faces, is the knock on effect. "The House Of Cards" are falling all about him.
I would not mind betting that those blue chip companies, that advertise with the Times, the Sun, and all his other media outlets, are negotiating substantial discounts on their various commitments.
He is taking a tremendous hit on his BSkyB shares.

Much as I would love to shed a tear for NotW (given its rich history and the amazing stories it has been around to cover), the snivelling, sneaking, lying, steeling, dishonest insult even to tabloid journalism that it has become - I doubt anyone of sound mind can miss...

So Ms Almighty is in the clutches of the plods. Oh I would love to be a fly on the wall for that. What gets me is this arrest by appointment carry on. Are they to big a name to be treated the same as any other possible criminal?
