I know we are in a recession and there has to be cost cutting but has it reached the point that this can happen?

Ok it might have been a freek accident but to be honest for someone who hates going to a meat factory this really did give me serious wobbles in the bowels! With all the chemicals and equipment in the the chopping shop it could have been serious.

That is the scarery bit. If there is no naked flames, sparks, heat source etc then that leaves just a chemical reaction ignition. That thought has the old sphincter behaving like it has been tazered!

Possible if there is enough nylon and other static generating materials. A static discharge can be 60'000 volts

That could do it . Nylon trousers and the balloon trick is static. You would see a static discharge as a small blue arc and believe me it leaves a burn so could ignite a flamable substance. Though you would think that a hospital theatre would have risk assesments done to reduce or eliminate the possibility of something like this happening. Very scary and hope its a one off.
